Therapeutic Harmony

I was recently treated to a relaxing afternoon at my favourite sanctuary in Bedford, Lords & Ladies. It’s been a favourite of mine ever since a good friend introduced me to owners Helen and Amy’s oasis a few years ago. Their expert team have become my hands-down go to for everything on the spectrum of pleasure (massage) to pain (waxing)... So, when I was asked if I wanted to experience their newest treatment I obviously said yes.

Founders Helen & Amy have created their most advanced massage experience yet, Therapeutic Harmony. Combining Eastern and Western techniques, Indian head massage, reflexology and deep tissue massage, it really is a treat for all the senses. 

They suggest that the treatment is the perfect rescue remedy for those of us that ‘lead a full on and hectic life’... Now that caught my attention! With so much focus on running a small business and the growth of épanoui, I am sometimes guilty of neglecting the all important self-care needed to keep myself topped up. So, this treatment came at exactly the right time. 

Upon arriving at their home on St Cuthbert's Street, I was welcomed by the lovely Cath and team. I immediately felt calm just entering the beautiful outside courtyard. Myself, Georgia - owner of fitness studio, Studio 281, and Gemma, founder of wedding styling business, The White Emporium, who had also been invited along, were treated to fresh juices and delicious energy balls - all made locally at Papillon on Castle Road. 

My therapist for the afternoon was the wonderful Meghan who asked me if I had any aches, pains or niggles and then we were down to it - 85 minutes of pure relaxation. During the massage I was treated to heated oils, warming blankets and steam towels to make this the optimum cosy experience. I can honestly say that I felt perfectly relaxed and revitalised afterwards.

For anyone looking to treat themselves to ultimate self-care, the Therapeutic Harmony treatment is for you. I cannot recommend it highly enough.. and I cannot wait to do it all over again!
